What is hypnosis?

Hypnosis is high quality suggestion. It is neither mysterious nor super-natural. It is real. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis. We work with you to assist you in achieving your own best purpose.

Hypnosis is a very normal, natural state that most of us experience everyday. An example of daily hypnosis would be driving a car and realizing that you can't remember how you got where you were going because you mind was elsewhere. Another example would be getting lost in a movie or story and being oblivious to what is going on around you.

In these examples the conscious part of the mind was distracted allowing the subconscious part of the mind to take over. During a hypnotic session you will achieve a deep and successful state of hypnosis.

Who can be hypnotized?

Any willing person with a normal intelligence can be hypnotized. We have hypnotized thousands of people and have yet to find anybody who cannot be hypnotized.

What if you can't bring me out of it?

There is no danger of a person failing to come out of the hypnotic state. In fact, it would be impossible to remain hypnotized. Even if the hypnotist left the office while a person was in a hypnotic state, there would be no danger. The person would drift off into a natural state of sleep and would awaken after he was rested.

Is there any danger with hypnosis?

The only way hypnosis could be dangerous would be if it were used to take away pain. The pain would not be there to alert the person to the fact that there was a medical problem.

After hypnotic sessions, many subjects report that they sleep better at night and are more relaxed during the day.

Will I do something against my will?

When you are hypnotized, you are aware of all suggestions given to you and you will not do anything that you are opposed to doing.

Is hypnosis habit forming?

No. Hypnosis is a very enjoyable state of relaxation but a person never becomes addicted to hypnosis.
